Jessica is the founder of Shama Sanctuary and a longtime guide in sacred medicine and integration work. A mother of seven remarkable human beings and a former pastor, her path has been shaped by decades of holding space for others through grief, transformation, faith transitions, and deep inner inquiry. Her work with Bufo emerged not as a departure from her earlier vocation, but as a continuation of it—rooted in reverence, responsibility, and care for the whole human experience. Jessica’s integration work is informed by the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, a trauma-informed therapeutic approach that honors the intelligence of the psyche and the protective patterns formed through lived experience. Through Shama Sanctuary, she offers carefully held ceremonial spaces and ongoing integration support that emphasize safety, embodiment, personal sovereignty, and the remembering of wholeness.

Gretchen is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher and 100-hour certified Grief Yoga® facilitator devoted to the healing arts. Through somatic practices that weave together movement, breath, and sound, she gently guides others in releasing stored emotion, honoring grief, and reconnecting with the wisdom of the body. Her work is rooted in a heart-centered, intuitive approach, creating space for deep transformation, inner connection, and soulful restoration. Following a deeply personal loss, Gretchen felt called to step away from a career in engineering to fully devote herself to the path of healing and wellness. This lived experience informs the way she holds space—with compassion, presence, and a deep respect for each individual’s journey. Based in Dunedin, Florida, Gretchen teaches at Warrior One Yoga, where she supports students in softening, feeling, and coming home to themselves. Outside of teaching, she finds inspiration in coastal living—spending time by the water, creating botanical kombucha blends, and exploring practices that nourish the body, mind, and spirit.
